Needs policyImport.create (Insurer only): without it the Organisation menu hides Policy import, and the page shows the 404 page in its content, with the Settings tabs and menu around it.
CSV or XLSX up to 200 MB (2²⁰ bytes a MB), uploaded resumably (tus): leaving the page keeps the resume point, and choosing the same file again continues it. One import runs at a time per Insurer.
After the upload, POST /policy-imports reads the header row: a file that matches the saved mapping runs at once; new or changed columns open Import mapping (?import={id}). A missing required column or an unreadable file fails the whole file before any row applies.
The card polls the shown import every 2 seconds; a failed poll shows its error inside the card. Your own run stays shown with its result once it ends; someone else's is mirrored under the "already running" banner and gives way to Ready when it ends.
Errors and Why load that import into the card above; Review opens its Import mapping. Cancel import there leaves the import waiting for its mapping.
The result lists the first 10 rejected rows; the error list ({file}-errors.csv) has every rejected row and warning. A branch code not set up yet puts its Policies under head office until the next import.
History covers the last 90 days; the file itself is not kept.
A shown result has no Choose file: the drop zone comes back once the page is opened again (as built).
A finished import counts the Policies whose current version has no email, across the Insurer's whole book. The warning hides at zero, and an interrupted import shows none.

A refused upload is a toast (too large, unreadable, too many uploads, no connection) and the card returns to Ready; an unreadable file still lists as a failed import, whose Why loads it into the card.
A failed error-list download is a toast; its title "Error list not downloaded" is drafted, its body is the error's text.
Download error list shows the spinner on the button while it downloads.
Import history shows skeleton rows while it loads, with Choose file disabled until it answers; a failed read shows its alert alone.
Date-times carry WIB.
The page heading stays above its three blocks, as main has it.
Mapping confirmed lands here as a toast, the import running.
The no-email count's heading reads "1 Policy has no email" for one, as main's branch-code heading counts.
