/claim/report is where Your policy's Report an incident goes. Without the Client's cookie the proxy sends the Client to /claim. The page reads GET /api/auth/client/me for the Policy number and plate; a 401 also goes to /claim, and any other failure shows the app's error page, without the Client frame.
Web captures nothing and reports nothing: the Client reports the incident in the app, whose report (C2) replaces web's old claim form (#670).
The badges link to the store listings, by placeholder ids until the store accounts exist (#629). On a phone both show.
"Open in the app" is the capture link /claim?policy=…&plate=… on web's domain, a Universal Link and an App Link (#667): installed, the app opens its sign-in with both filled in; not installed, the link opens web's /claim.
On a computer the card says the app runs on a phone and leaves out "Open in the app"; the badges open the listings in the browser. The page tells a phone from a computer by the browser's user agent.
The header, the sheet and the footer are Your policy's; Your policy stays marked, as the page it came from.

From client-capture.html#webclient: "Take your photos in the app", "For your security, photos are taken only in the app.", the two store badges and "Already installed? Open in the app".
The install card has its own route, /claim/report, where main's Report an incident already links. #674's comment of 11 Oct asked that nothing link there, while it had no route.
Drafted: "Report the incident in the app." and "Report the incident in the app on your phone." for a Client with no Claim yet; "The app opens with policy … and plate … filled in. Sign in there with the code we email you."; the computer's box "The app runs on a phone" / "Install it on your phone (Android or iOS), then sign in there with policy … and plate …"; the back link "Your policy".
The app's sign-in, not the Claim: with no Claim yet, the link opens the app on this Policy, and the report starts there.
The store badges keep the stores' own colours and words in both themes, as the mockup drew them.

ticket #674 → comment: /claim/report shows the install card for a Client with no Claim yet: the drafted line "Report the incident in the app.", the badges, and "Open in the app" with the Policy's capture link. It replaces the comment's "Nothing links to /claim/report": main's link stays and gains the route.
ticket #674 → comment: on a computer the card says the app runs on a phone (drafted) and drops "Open in the app".
ticket #680 → comment: the web journey covers Report an incident opening the install card at /claim/report, on a phone and on a computer.

Signed in on a phone, the switcher lives only in the burger menu and the header pill goes; signed-out steps keep the pill. (12 Oct 2026)
