We couldn't confirm it's you. Try again, or sign out.

This phone's screen lock was turned off, so you were signed out. Set a passcode, PIN or pattern, then sign in again.

Photos still waiting to upload stay on this phone and upload after you sign in again.

The app lock covers staff Sessions only; a Client's has none. It is the phone's own unlock (expo-local-authentication), so the prompt is the system's: Face ID (Touch ID on an iPhone SE) or the passcode on an iPhone; fingerprint, face, or the PIN, pattern or password on Android. The app has no PIN of its own.
It locks when the app comes back after 30 seconds or more in the background, and on opening the app with a staff Session. The camera, permission prompts and a quick look at the maps app don't lock it.
The prompt opens by itself; cancelling it leaves this screen, which shows the Person and the Active Organisation and nothing of any Claim. Unlock opens the prompt again. Passed (here: press the face or the fingerprint, or the passcode button), the app opens where it was, the staff Claims tab here.
An iPhone asks once to allow Face ID (NSFaceIDUsageDescription); refused, it falls back to the passcode.
Sign out asks first, then ends this Session (POST /api/auth/sign-out {refreshToken}), clears the tokens and opens staff sign-in. Photos still waiting to upload stay on the phone.
A phone whose screen lock was turned off after sign-in can't lock the app: the next lock signs the staff Session out and shows "Set a screen lock first"; Sign in again opens staff sign-in, where Continue stays off until a lock is set.

Drafted: the screen-lock-removed notice: "Set a screen lock first" / "This phone's screen lock was turned off, so you were signed out. Set a passcode, PIN or pattern, then sign in again.", the photos line, "Open settings" and "Sign in again".
Every overlay is a bottom sheet: Sign out? and both system prompts, which the mockup drew as centred dialogs, each prompt labelled "iPhone's own prompt" or "Android's own prompt".
Opening the app draws the same lock screen with the prompt already open, as on resume.
Unlock and Sign out sit in the footer, as every app screen's actions do; Sign out shows its progress on its own button.
The Insurer's name replaces the mockup's "ACA · Cabang Jakarta Barat": Rina Santoso · Asuransi Demo · Surabaya. "[Product name]" replaces "App name".
Stand-ins: the Face ID and fingerprint marks are a framed person and drawn rings, until the icon set has both.

ticket #690 → comment: the app also locks on opening the app with a staff Session; the same lock screen, with the prompt open.
ticket #690 → comment: a screen lock turned off after sign-in signs the staff Session out at the next lock and shows "Set a screen lock first", with Open settings and Sign in again; unsent photos stay.
ticket #690 → comment: Sign out? is a bottom sheet with Cancel and Sign out, and the phone's prompt is the system's own sheet; the mockup's centred dialogs go.

The app is drawn in a phone frame on a wide screen; at phone width the frame drops. (12 Oct 2026)
Every overlay is a bottom sheet; a confirmation is an alert dialog. (12 Oct 2026)
States the mockup lacks are drawn now: the lock on opening the app, and the notice when the phone's screen lock is removed after sign-in (#690). (12 Oct 2026)
